here's a list of things bothering me lately:

1. singing in public

why do people feel the need to embarass themselves while ironically begging for attention. I was getting starbucks at my school the other day when some douchebag decided he'd bring out his guitar and sing/play while he waited for his coffee. STFU. I'd like to also throw in people who know the lyrics to every song and think we'd like to hear them ruin everything playing on the speaker. please stop.

2. labret piercings

what was once an oddly attractive piercing reserved for the risque, is now adorning the bottom lip area of almost 10 girls per day. And that's just what I see on the way to class.

3. the storyteller

there's a guy who shows up to my class every day, and loudly proclaims how he got "smashed, drunk, fucked up, destroyed" and in a variety of other adjectives how he takes a combination of drugs and alcohol on a seemingly daily basis to an excess. I don't know who's impressed, maybe his doctor that he's alive? certainly not the rest of us giving him a /facepalm.
